bitFlyer, Japan’s largest cryptocurrency exchange based licensed to work in the US, EUtoday published a listing of 4 new crypto-assets for trading on bitFlyer USA.
Starting today, Polkadot (DOT), Tezos (XTZ), Basic Attention Token (BAT) and Stellar (XLM) will be available for replacement. Further, bitFlyer USA customers will be able to deposit these new tokens into their accounts, transfer them to external wallets and set up recurring purchases.
Polkadot allows several different blockchains to be interconnected. They founded it Web3 Foundationwhich aims to develop a decentralized web.
In addition to the central relay chain, Polkadot uses several parallel blocks, called parachain, to provide interoperability that allows the exchange of different types of data and values.
The parallel operation of the blockchain solves the problem of scalability, and at the same time increases security by combining the security functions of parallaxes in the Relay Chain.
Tezos is a decentralized, public blockchain and smart contracts platform.
Stakeholders of the Tezos network are voting on amendments to the protocol in order to reach a social consensus on the proposals, creating a secure and organic mechanism for upgrading.
A protocol chain management system, a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm and the ability to facilitate formal verification of smart contracts make Tezos an ideal solution for financial applications.
Basic Attention Token (BAT)
Basic Attention Token (BAT) is a new type of crypto asset that has been developed to change the relationship between publishers, advertisers and users. The Basic Attention Token is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain developed for use in the Brave browser.
Locks is a privacy-focused web browser that allows you to search quickly by blocking unnecessary ads and search engines. It has a system for anonymously measuring the interests of users and paying out appropriate rewards to publishers. Users who see ads in Brave can get BAT points, which they can send to creators and websites they like.
Stellar Lumen (XLM) is a crypto and distributed book created by the Stellar Development Foundation.
Although the development was originally based on Ripple, it advanced with an original consensus algorithm called the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP). This consensus algorithm allows fast processing of a large number of transactions at low cost without the need for mining.
Note: These new funds are not currently available to New Yorkers.
