After falling during trading sessions on Thursday night, difficulties in bitcoin mining rose to a lifetime maximum, reaching 26.64 trillion after a jump of 9.32% at a block height of 719,712. The maximum mining weight (ATH) is now higher than the ATH it reached on May 15, 2021, which means that it is currently harder than ever to find a reward for a bitcoin block.
