Sameena Shah is General Manager, Artificial Intelligence Research in Digital and Platform Services, where she and her team work throughout the firm to create artificial intelligence technologies for business transformation and growth. She is a highly successful leader with over 20 years of experience in education and industry in AI, engineering, data. Her leadership has resulted in award-winning AI technologies that have transformed products and businesses.

Previously, Sameena was CEO at S&P Global, where she led the company’s strategy and development for expanded intelligence. Prior to that, Sameena worked at Thomson Reuters, Schonfeld’s hedge fund, Yahoo! She researched and ran her own consulting firm for artificial intelligence.

Sameena holds a PhD in artificial intelligence, a master’s degree in computer science from IIT Delhi and a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering. She is passionate about artificial intelligence and change and is a frequent guest speaker at top forums, including Ted’s talks and introductory speeches at major AI conferences (IJCAI 2021). She has won several scientific and industry awards, including Microsoft’s Best Doctoral Dissertation in the Country, Clouder’s Best AI / ML Application Award, Google Women in Engineering Award, and the prolific JPMC inventor with 30+ patents and 60+ peer-reviewed publications.

Elizabeth Bramson-Boudreau is the CEO and publisher of the MIT Technology Review, an independent media company of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Since Elizabeth took over as head of MIT Technology Review in mid-2017, the business has undergone a huge transformation from its previous position as a respected but low-profile magazine to a widely read, multi-platform media brand with a global audience and sustainable business. . Under her leadership, the MIT Technology Review is praised for its editorial authority, best-in-class events, and new use of independent, original research to support both advertisers and readers.

Elizabeth has 20 years of experience in building and leading teams in the world’s leading media companies. It remains focused on new ways to commercialize media content to attract discerning, demanding consumers as well as B2B audiences.

Prior to joining the MIT Technology Review, Elizabeth held a senior executive role in The Economist Group, where her leadership spanned a number of business lines and included mergers and acquisitions; editorial and product creation and modernization; sales; marketing; and events. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant, advising technology firms on market entry and international expansion.

Elizabeth holds an executive MBA from London Business School, an MSc from London School of Economics and a degree from Swarthmore College.
