The Australian Zoo is launching an NFT project to pay tribute to wildlife conservation efforts

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Wildlife Warriors ’role in protecting injured, endangered or endangered wildlife, the Australian Zoo has launched the Irreplaceable Tokens (NFT) project to raise funds and raise awareness to protect wildlife and wildlife in Australia.

Per the announcement:

“The rare NFT project will consist of a series of drops, each focusing on a different animal of the Wildlife Warriors of the Australian Zoo. NFTs will be randomly generated, non-deterministic, utility-driven and 100 percent customer-unique. ”

In partnership with Australian technology startup Meadow Labs, a limited series of NFT will be placed on the Algorand blockchain based on low transaction fees, which translate into carbon offsets.

The Australian Zoo, considered home to crocodile hunters, is home to more than 1,200 animals. His wildlife hospital has treated more than 110,000 animals since its founding in 2004.

Martin Kelly, co-founder and CEO of Meadow Labs, sees this partnership as a stepping stone to creating the “NFT for good” movement needed for a sustainable future.

“We are really excited to partner with the Australian Zoo in their first attack on Web3 and their mission to fight wildlife and wildlife on the planet, one by one NFT. This is a sensational example of what innovative brands can achieve when they open up to the endless possibilities that Web3 offers. ”

Given that technological innovation is needed in wildlife conservation efforts, NFT is expected to fill the gap.

Robert Irwin of the Australian Zoo remarked:

“At Australian Zoo, we are always open to new ways that can help us continue our Wildlife Warriors mission. This green chain and new technology give us a new path to continue to fight to protect our wildlife and wildlife. ”

As fires in Australia wreaked havoc in 2020, bitcoin donations have come in handy to help the noble cause, Blockchain.News logged in.

The decision to direct donations cryptocurrency this is because cryptocurrencies enable fundraising around the world during major disasters based on low accumulated transaction fees.
