WWE Inks deals with fanatics to offer fans an enhanced NFT experience

To give its fans a new experience with non-replaceable token (NFT) merchant cards, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has signed contract with the digital sports platform Fanatics.

As an American integrated media and entertainment company known for professional wrestling, WWE sees this partnership as a game change that will give its global fan base more opportunities to show their pride and passion for its stars-filled list and events.

Vince McMahon, President and CEO of WWE, welcomed the collaboration and said:

“We believe this multi-platform partnership will set a new standard for WWE e-commerce, clothing and merchandise, while providing our fans around the world with more ways than ever to socialize with WWE and our superstars.”

For a better fan experience, WWE will be able to access Fanatics Collectibles, Fanatics Commerce and Candy Digital.

Fanatics Collectibles, NFT trading cards, will help redesign WWE’s physical and digital cards.

Michael Rubin, CEO of Fanatics, noted:

“From e-commerce and licensed merchandise to merchant cards and more, we will offer an incredible array of opportunities to help passionate WWE fans around the world celebrate their favorite Superstars, tent events and the WWE brand in general.”

WWE is one of the most respected sports and entertainment facilities around the world. Rubin added that it was perfectly logical to activate many parts of our global Fanatics platform to create the first of its kind, a comprehensive fan experience.

The organization has shown its propensity for irreplaceable tokens, given that it is launched NFTs inspired by John Son just in time for SummerSlam in August 2021.

Meanwhile, a recent report by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). recognized that NFT will be at the epicenter of the future of sport as it will revolutionize the way fans consume and communicate in the sports arena.
